For this, we are hiring a hands-on AI Engineer who can turn ideas into functional, high-impact AI applications. You’ll work closely with our Technical Program Manager to design, build, and deploy AI-driven tools that deliver measurable business impact. This role reports directly to our EVP – Operations.
Role Overview:
This is a hands-on build, test, and deploy role for someone who thrives in a startup environment.
In this role, you will:
Build and deploy Generative AI powered solutions to solve real operational challenges.
Integrate AI into workflows across People Operations, Sales, Finance, and Customer Management.
Collaborate with teams to ensure solutions are adopted effectively.
Build POCs and deploy production-ready solutions leveraging LLMs, NLP models, and automation frameworks.
Design and implement RAG pipelines using vector databases and advanced prompt engineering techniques.
Integrate AI capabilities into existing tools through APIs, SDKs, and automation platforms.
Develop scripts and connectors for cross-tool automation, enabling data synchronization, task orchestration, and intelligent alerts.
Partner with the Technical Program Manager to fine-tune and optimize models for real-world business use cases.
Ensure scalability by maintaining clean code, robust version control practices, and clear technical documentation.
Must-Have Skills:
Strong proficiency in Python as the core development language for AI/ML applications.
Practical experience with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) and prompt engineering.
Solid understanding of NLP concepts and embeddings.
Hands-on experience with MCP protocol and agentic development.
Proven expertise in RAG workflows and vector databases (any open source preferred).
Skilled in backend API development using FastAPI or Flask.
Experience integrating APIs with popular SaaS tools (e.g., Jira, Salesforce, HubSpot).
Proficiency with Git/GitHub and working knowledge of Docker.
Familiarity with key AWS services for deployment and scaling.
Good-to-Have Skills
Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for integrations with Next.js/React applications.
Proficiency in SQL fundamentals with ability to build simple data visualizations.
Experience using automation and workflow orchestration frameworks (e.g., Airflow, Zapier, n8n) to streamline and connect business processes.
Familiarity with event-driven architectures and deployments using services like AWS Lambda and SQS.
Success in 6 Months Means
Delivered at least 3 working AI automations that eliminate manual workflows.
Successfully integrated AI into multiple internal tools without disrupting operations.
Built POCs that can be scaled into production.
